My Story
My name is Bennett Bales, and I am a junior student with a double major in graphic design and advertising at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. I am originally from Dallas, Texas. After graduation, I hope to find a job which will allow me to use creative expression that influences a business’ ideas and goals.
Previously, I held internships the last two summers at Highland Park United Methodist Church and Bank Iowa, in which I assisted both the creative and marketing team’s production of marketing materials needed for effective communication between these brands and their members.
I have developed a diverse portfolio of work done during my time in high school and college, which includes marketing projects for new businesses and current ones in the state of Texas, and a few of my original ideas. I am very comfortable with the Adobe Suite of products and other communication platforms and have used them recently to create most if not all of my projects during my time in college and working freelance.
I have a passion for brand identity and digital media creation, and I specialize in Digital Marketing, Visual Communications, and Print & Digital Media Design. My work aims to help businesses build or enhance their visual identity, as well as create a relationship between an organization and its audience on a creative level. I am always looking for new projects to design and create, so feel free to reach out!
